Victoria Bickley, Dog Trainer, Leads and Feeds - Dog Training

I am a professional and experienced 1-2-1 Dog Training and Behaviour Consultancy, based in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

While friendly and approachable, I have a huge passion for motivating owners and their dogs to reach their potential. I am a reliable, qualified and experienced service. I am also DBS Checked and insured.

Formed in 2010 in Thrapston by myself, Victoria Bickley, I offer a very professional yet flexible service which is tailored to you and your pets needs.

I now have 14 years of experience as a Dog Trainer, and have helped hundreds of dogs and owners reach their potential.

I have also had the opportunity to judge obedience at local dog shows in Northamptonshire for charity, please contact me to find out more about what I can offer for shows and local charity events.

Dogs and Dog Training has been my passion for nearly one and a half decades, I never stop learning and I am always looking to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. Reading, researching and online talks discussing the latest techniques with my peers. Dog Training is very much a journey for me, not a simple destination.

I am trained in Animal First Aid as well as Human First Aid.

''I have had many dogs in my life so far, from German Shepherds, Stafffordshire Bull Terriers, a Jack Russell, Labradors, a Japanese Akita, a Tibetan Terrier, and Spaniels. I have taken in many of these as rescues and rehabilitated some to find loving new homes. I also have done some rescue and rehabilitation work during the ten months I spent in Sicily, in 2020.

I currently am so busy working with other dogs to have my own, but I do own a two year old cat called Panzer who may as well woof!''

''Previous to Leads and Feeds - Dog Training, and having grown up on a working estate in Gloucestershire, where we had over 25 dogs. I have since worked in many different animal jobs, supplementing my studies, from a keeper at Exmoor Zoo, to a horse riding school and yards, Northants Reptile Store, as well as being a supervisor during my studies at the Moulton College Animal site where they house many domestic and non-domestic animals. I have a huge amount of hands on experience with a variety of animals, and any fears within the animal kingdom, (spiders, cockroaches and scorpions) have now evolved into a comfortable and loving relationship!

After I completed my Psychology and ICT AS Levels in 2007, I knew I wanted to work with animals so I went straight onto an Animal Management course which covered everything from veterinary nursing and exotic species care, to Animal Behaviour and Kennel Management and came out with Distinction in 2010.''

'We became first time doggy parents last year and although we had read everything on offer and watched a million YouTube videos we had a few issues with getting our 5 month old puppy to walk nicely to heel. I met Victoria when out walking and she was training another dog so I got her details and made contact.
