Victoria and Milo the Vizla
I am a professional and experienced One to One Dog Training and Behaviour Consultancy based in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

While friendly and approachable, I have a huge passion for motivating owners and their dogs to reach their potential.

Formed in 2010 in Thrapston by myself, Victoria Bickley, I offer a very professional yet flexible service which is tailored to you and your dog(s) needs.

I specialise in One to One Home Visit Dog Training Sessions, and cover the Midlands, UK.

I now have 14 years of experience as a Dog Trainer, 30+ years of passion in Dog Behaviour, and I have helped hundreds of dogs and owners reach their potential.

I only use kind, safe and effective Dog Training methods and I actively keep up to date with the latest Positive methods and ethics of Dog Training.

Dogs and Dog Training has been my passion for nearly one and a half decades, I never stop learning and I am always looking to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. Reading, researching, online talks and behaviour conferences, discussing the latest techniques with my peers. Dog Training is very much a journey for me, not a simple destination.

Please ask to find out more about my formal qualifications and experience.

I am trained in Animal First Aid as well as Human First Aid. I am also DBS checked.

I have also had the opportunity to judge obedience at local dog shows in Northamptonshire for charity, please contact me to find out more about what I can offer at shows and local charity events. â€‹
I have had many dogs in my life so far, from 3 German Shepherds (Ben, Bee & Magnum), 2 Stafffordshire Bull Terriers (Remmy and Misty), a Jack Russell (Lottie), several Labradors, a Japanese Akita (Bailey), a Tibetan Terrier (Harvey), and Spaniels. I have taken in many of these dogs as emergency rescues and rehabilitated them and found them loving new homes. I also have done some rescue and rehabilitation work during the ten months I spent in Sicily, in 2020, and you can find more information about this on our blog.

I currently am so busy working with other dogs to have my own, but I do own a two year old cat called Panzer who may as well woof!

Previous to Leads and Feeds Dog Training, and having grown up on a working estate in Gloucestershire where we had over 25 dogs, both working and non-working. I have since worked in many different animal jobs to supplement my animal behaviour studies at college, from a Zoo keeper at Exmoor Zoo, to a horse riding school in Silverstone, various farm yards, and Northampton Reptile Shop. I have a huge amount of hands on experience with a variety of animals, and any fears within the animal kingdom, (spiders, cockroaches and scorpions) have now evolved into a comfortable and loving relationship!

After I completed my Psychology and ICT AS Levels, I knew I wanted to work with animals as well as people, so I went straight onto an Animal Management course which covered everything from Veterinary Nursing and Animal Rehabilitation, to Animal Behaviour, Kennel and Cattery Management, Dog Grooming and more.

Since setting up initially in 2010, I have not looked back. I initially supplemented my One to One Dog Training with ancillary services such as Group Dog Walks and Professional Pet Sitting which was a huge hit with many of my clients and after 9 years of building upon that experience I moved from Thrapston to Towcester in 2019.

Since then I have been able to specialise purely in my Dog Training Services, supplementing with additional qualifications and experience, including spending ten months in Sicily, Italy in 2020, where I was involved in rescue, rehabilitation and training and rehoming of both working and domestic dogs.

I also spend time where possible at local rescue shelters (such as Animals In Need, Northants) to help get some of the more anxious dogs, out and about to get some safe exercise and stimulation.

At the end of 2023, I relocated to Raunds, and am incredibly grateful to all my clients for their constant and continued support throughout and I am excited for the next chapter for Leads and Feeds Dog Training!

'Victoria was absolutely amazing in our session this week with our 5 month old Labrador puppy. She has given us so many tips for loose lead walking (our main area of need) as well as lots of exercises for mental stimulation that my children can also be involved with. She was incredibly knowledgable and encouraging throughout the whole session… would highly recommend. Thank you Victoria 😊'

''Victoria has been amazing with my two mini dachshunds! We have seen a massive difference in just a few sessions, and would highly recommend to anyone. She really goes the extra mile, couldn’t fault her services! Thank you Victoria x'

''We became first time doggy parents last year and although we had read everything on offer and watched a million YouTube videos we had a few issues with getting our 5 month old puppy to walk nicely to heel.  I met Victoria when out walking and she was training another dog so I got her details and made contact.  She was very patient with us and gave me some really good tips that we can use - and do use - every day.  Our walks are so much more fun and relaxed and and two months later I am so much more confident when out with our boy.  Just having Victoria walking with us a few times, observing and giving tips and advice and sometimes even just telling me that I was doing it right was just what I needed - never having had a dog before and struggling with meeting up with people during lockdown - bumping into her when we did was perfect.  I would definitely recommend Leads and Feeds to anyone who just needs a bit of extra support or advice - it’s impossible to know it all yourself as a first time doggy parent and having Victoria on the end of a message if needed is perfect.  Thank you Leads and Feeds for helping us to get to where we are now - happy and confident and enjoying every minute with our new family member.'
